Social Worker – Children in Need/ Child Protection - City of Doncaster Council
Location: City of Doncaster Council
Salary: £48,227 per annumn
Office Working: 2-3 Days per week
Contract: Fixed Term Contract (3-12 months)
We are currently working with City of Doncaster to find an experienced Social Worker for their Child Protection team in Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Doncaster are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.
Duties
- Managing complex caseloads and delivering effective interventions for children and families.
- Completing statutory assessments, risk assessments, and Section 47 investigations.
- Developing and implementing child-centred plans to achieve positive outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- Preparing and presenting high-quality reports for meetings, reviews, and court proceedings where required.
- Applying sound professional judgement to inform decision-making and risk management.
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
