Are you a dedicated and experienced social worker with a passion for supporting young people? Join our dynamic Adolescence Team in South West London and make a real difference in the lives of children aged 13 and over. We’re looking for a Senior Social Worker who is ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role within a supportive and innovative local authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Oversee a caseload of adolescents aged 13+, providing tailored support and interventions that meet their unique needs.

  • Relationship Building: Establish strong, trusting relationships with young people, helping them navigate the challenges of adolescence and transition smoothly into adulthood.

  • Interagency Collaboration: Work closely with schools, health services, and other agencies to provide holistic support, ensuring that the young person’s voice is central to all decision-making.

  • Safeguarding: Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns, ensuring that the safety and wellbeing of the young people are always prioritized.

  • Mentoring and Support: Provide guidance and support to junior social workers within the team, sharing your expertise and promoting best practices.

  • Crisis Intervention: Respond to crises involving adolescents, providing immediate support and long-term solutions to stabilize their situations.
