Senior Social Worker - Child In Need - South Central London

Role:  Senior Social Worker
Location: South Central London
Team:  Child In Need
Pay: Up to to £43,887 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonus
Contract:  Full Time (Permanent)

Our Local Authority client in South Central London is currently looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Child In Need team in Children’s Services. 

There is an incentive scheme in place to increase salary packages within up to to £43,887 per annum

As a Senior Social Worker on the Child In Need team in South Central London, you will need to have at least 2 year post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Senior Social Worker for this role in South Central London you will also need:

HCPC Registration
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check
2+ Years Experience

Duties include but not limited to:

• Responsible for undertaking social work on allocated cases producing outcome based plans, having regard to the needs of, and risks to, children and their families.
• Develop effective relationships with CYP and their families to improve impact of work and determine the level of service available ensuring written plans are agreed with the CYP and their families and reflect their views.
• Determine, using evidence based practice how these needs will be met subject to resources, statutory responsibilities, within the framework of council policies and procedures.
• Responsible for effective Individual performance in line with national standards and performance indicators, including receiving regular supervision.
• Maintain, monitor and review accurate records of all work undertaken ensuring recording information is accurate and up to date, including comprehensive use of the Integrated Children's System.
• Work effectively move casework to other areas of service as appropriate with a clear transfer plan.
