Senior Social Worker – Child Protection – South London

Role:  Senior Social Worker
Location:  South London
Team:  Child Protection
Pay:  Up to £45,500 per annum plus Excellent Golden Hello and Retention Bonus
Contract:  Permanent

Our Local Authority client in South London is currently looking for a Senior Social Worker to join their Child Protection team in Children’s Services.  This local authority have returned to "grass roots" social work and adopted a systemic model of practice. Their senior management team have already made fantastic changes and the borough is flourishing under their leadership.

As a Senior Social Worker on the Child Protection team in South London, you will need to have at least 2 years post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE.

To be considered as a Senior Social Worker for this role in South London you will also need:

HCPC Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be completing child protection investigations and will sometimes be required to attend court.  There is a duty rota in place which you will be a part of, and you will be expected to sometimes work unsociable hours as the job requires.
