Are you an experienced and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children in care in South East England is seeking a passionate Senior Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Manage a complex caseload of children in care, ensuring that each child’s needs are fully understood and met through tailored care plans.

  • Support and Advocacy: Act as a key advocate for the children in your care, ensuring their voices are heard and their best interests are always at the forefront of decision-making.

  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with other professionals, including foster carers, schools, and health services, to provide holistic support to children in care.

  • Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance and support to junior social workers within the team, helping to develop their skills and ensuring high standards of practice are maintained.

  • Statutory Duties: Ensure that all statutory responsibilities are met, including the completion of care plans, reviews, and court reports to the highest standard.

  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the development of the Children in Care Team, bringing new ideas and best practices to improve service delivery and outcomes for children.
