Pay: up to £38.50 per hour

Are you an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people? Tower Hamlets’ local authority is looking for a committed professional to join our Children Looked After & Leaving Care Team.
Key Responsibilities:

Leading on complex casework involving children in care and care leavers.

Supporting children and young people transitioning from care to independence.
-
Developing and implementing care plans, ensuring positive long-term outcomes.

Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.

Mentoring and supporting less experienced social workers, providing guidance and supervision.

Maintaining accurate and detailed case records in line with statutory requirements.
Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).

Registration with Social Work England.

Significant experience working with children looked after and care leavers.

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in children's social care.

Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
