Are you an experienced social worker with a passion for supporting children with disabilities? We’re looking for a Senior Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in North London. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing dedicated support to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring they receive the care and services they need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Oversee a caseload of children with disabilities, ensuring that each child’s needs are assessed, met, and regularly reviewed.

  • Care Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive care plans in collaboration with the child, their family, and multi-agency partners to promote their well-being and development.

  • Advocacy: Advocate for the rights of children with disabilities, ensuring they have access to appropriate education, health care, and social services.

  • Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work closely with health professionals, educators, and other service providers to ensure a coordinated approach to care.

  • Supervision and Support: Provide guidance and supervision to junior social workers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and protection of children at all times, adhering to safeguarding protocols and procedures.
