Senior Social Worker – Family Help – Portsmouth City Council
Location: Portsmouth City Council
Pay: £42ph
Office Working: 4 Days per week
Contract: Locum
We are currently working with Portsmouth City Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Family Help Team in the Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Portsmouth City Council are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.
Duties
- Completing Section 47’s and section 17 enquiries
- Undertake Section 7and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations
- Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
- Write conference reports and attend conferences, such as Core Group Meetings
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
