Are you an experienced Senior Social Worker with a recognised social work qualification and registered with Social Work England?
If so, a dynamic local authority in South East London is seeking a Senior Social Worker to join their expanding Looked After Children's (LAC) team within Children's Services.
This role offers an enviable prospect for a talented Senior Social Worker to join a forward-thinking authority and make a genuine impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in the Looked After Children's Team, ensuring that vulnerable children and young people in the community receive the level of care and attention they deserve.
You will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and young people in the care system, developing plans to support them and working with foster carers, birth families and other agencies to ensure the best outcomes for those in your care.
In addition, you will be expected to undertake court work and provide expert evidence where necessary.
To be considered for this role, you must have a recognised social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.
You will have a minimum of 3 years' post-qualifying experience, with a track record of working with vulnerable children and young people in a local authority setting.
You will also be able to demonstrate your knowledge of relevant legislation, including Children's Acts and the Human Rights Act.
A positive and person-centred approach is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
This Senior Social Worker role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £38.50ph, and the opportunity to develop professionally in a supportive environment.
