Sheldon-Phillips are proud to be working in partnership with a Central Midlands local authority to recruit for a Senior Social Worker role in their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH).

As a Senior Social Worker, you will be required to lead on complex investigations and complex assessments, as well as providing advice and guidance to colleagues. You will be expected to provide evidence-based advice and challenge decisions, as well as advocating on behalf of vulnerable service users. You must be confident in your ability to work under pressure, managing a heavy workload without compromising on quality.

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. You will have a minimum of two years' experience as a Social Worker, and have an in-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience of working in a MASH or assessment team.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £38. In addition to this, you will be joining a team who strive to build a culture of learning and development. You will have access to regular Supervision and Performance Reviews, as well as in-house training and development opportunities.
