Are you a qualified and experienced social worker looking for an exciting new role in the west midlands? We have the perfect job for you.

At Sheldon Phillips, we are recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to join an OFSTED-rated 'good' local authority safeguarding team. This is a non-case holding role that will involve undertaking pre-birth assessments, parenting assessments, risk assessments and stand alone discretionary pieces of work.

To be considered for this role, you must have a Social Work England qualification and experience of working within a safeguarding team. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, who is able to build relationships and effectively assess and manage risk. You must be able to work with a diverse range of people and have a good knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and procedures.

In return, we are offering a competitive rate of pay of £33.30 per hour, plus a hybrid and flexible working arrangement. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established local authority and make a real difference to the lives of service users.
