The successful Senior Social Worker will be expected to provide a highly professional and efficient service in line with statutory requirements, regulations and policies. This includes assessments, decision making, supervision and support to social work staff. The Senior Social Worker will also provide leadership, advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring that the team's objectives are met.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- At least two years experience of working in a Referral and Assessment Team
- A relevant professional social work qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- An understanding of Children’s services and the associated legislative requirements
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work as part of a team
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
