Job Overview:

Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Senior Social Worker to join our Adult Social Care Reviewing Team in Yorkshire. This locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £35 and the opportunity to work within a dedicated team focusing on case file reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case File Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of adult social care case files, ensuring that care plans are up-to-date and continue to meet the needs of service users.
• Assessment & Planning: Reassess the needs of individuals, adjusting care plans and services as necessary to reflect changes in circumstances.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the Reviewing Team, including social workers at various levels of experience, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all assessments, reviews, and decisions, in compliance with statutory and local authority guidelines.
• Team Contribution: Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of the reviewing process.
• Best Practices: Stay informed about best practices and changes in legislation to ensure the highest standard of social work practice.

Requirements:

• Social Work England (SWE) registration is essential.
• Significant experience in adult social work, particularly in reviewing roles.
• Strong assessment, planning, and case management skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ensuring that the needs and rights of service users are met.
