Social Worker – Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC) Team - Birmingham Children's Trust

Location: One Avenue, Birmingham
Pay/Salary: up to £33.30 per hour
Office Working: 2 Days per week
Contract: Locum

We are currently working with Birmingham Children's Trust to find an experienced Social Worker for their UASC Team within Children’s Services. Birmingham are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their services.

Duties

  • Undertake statutory visits, assessments and reviews, including age assessments
  • Undertake care plans and pathway plans
  • Long term engagement with children, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
  • Attending conferences, such as CIC reviews
  • Working with multi-agency professionals, including interpreters, solicitors, health, police, education
  • Supporting independence and transition to adulthood

What you need

  • Social Work Qualification
  • Social Work England registration
  • Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
