Team - Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC)

Pay - £40 Per Hour

Location - Central London

Are you a Social Work England registered Senior Social Worker looking for a new challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Locum Senior Social Worker to join a Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children team in Central London.

This role offers the chance for a qualified and experienced social worker to make a real difference to children and young people's lives. The successful candidate will be joining a team that provides innovative and high quality services to children and young people who are seeking asylum in the UK.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with unaccompanied asylum seeking children, and will have a sound knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation, child welfare and safeguarding issues. You will be confident in undertaking assessments, and have a good understanding of the Local Authority process and procedures. You should be able to work collaboratively with other professionals in the team and have excellent communication skills.

The role offers hybrid working with some elements of remote working, and pays up to £40 per hour.
