Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families in the North West?

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join a Children’s Services Intervention and Assessment team in the North West. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation dedicated to providing the highest standards of care for children in need.

As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for working within the framework of the Children’s Act 1989 and 2004 and the Care Standards Act 2000 to assess the needs and formulate and implement appropriate plans of action for children and families.

You will be working in partnership with other agencies to co-ordinate assessments and ensure that the right support is in place for children and their families. You will be working with children and families to identify and address their needs and taking into account any cultural, social and economic factors when creating plans.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar setting and be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be experienced in delivering assessments and plans and will have the ability to think creatively to come up with innovative solutions.

You will need to be a qualified Social Worker and have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role. You should have an understanding of the legal frameworks that apply to children and families and the ability to work effectively with other professionals.
