We are looking for a talented individual to take up the position of Senior Social Worker in a Child in Need Team. This is an opportunity to join a team that is making a real and positive impact on young lives.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent support and guidance to children and young people who are in need of a helping hand. As Senior Social Worker, you will be expected to work in partnership with various stakeholders, including the child, their families, and relevant external agencies.

As Senior Social Worker, you will possess a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable children and young people and be able to develop appropriate interventions. You will be confident in providing evidence-based assessments, plans and reviews of cases, and be competent in the application of relevant legislation and good practice.

To be successful in this role, you will have at least 5 years post-qualifying experience as a qualified Social Worker and be registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). A degree in Social Work is essential, and experience of working with children and young people in a CIN environment is desirable.

In addition, you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures, and have an awareness of the needs of children with additional needs and disabilities. You must be able to work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and have good communication and organisational skills.

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £38.50 per hour, plus other benefits. You will also have the opportunity to work in a hybrid working environment, allowing for a degree of flexibility in your day-to-day activities.
