Are you an experienced and knowledgeable Social Work Assistant Team Manager looking for your next challenge?
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Children Services in a Local Authority in Central London. This important position offers a competitive pay rate of £40.50ph with the potential to develop your career in a challenging and rewarding environment.
This is an opportunity for you to make a real difference in the lives of young people, using your skills and expertise to safeguard vulnerable children and improve their outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring that all services provided by the MASH team are carried out efficiently and safely.
You will be required to support the management of a team of Social Workers in the MASH team, ensuring that all referrals are dealt with in a timely and effective manner and that all relevant procedures are followed. You will need to be an excellent communicator, able to build positive relationships with colleagues and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have a degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England. You will also have experience of working in a MASH team or similar environment, and have a working knowledge of child protection and safeguarding policies, procedures, and legislation. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads are essential, as is the ability to work on your own initiative.
You will be responsible for monitoring the performance of the MASH team, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently and that all relevant policies and procedures are followed. You will also be required to provide training and support to the team.
