Are you an experienced Deputy Team Manager looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a Local Authority in South East London, is looking for a skilled professional to join their team and help manage the Children in Care and Care Leavers Team.

The successful candidate will be required to provide day to day operational management of the team and make sure that the team is providing the highest quality of service. You will be responsible for the performance, quality and effectiveness of the service, developing and managing practice standards, and working directly with the Team Manager.

The ideal candidate will have strong management experience in Children's Services, with a good understanding of the relevant legislation and policy. You will have extensive experience in assessing risk and making judgements in complex cases. You will also have good leadership skills, be able to manage a team of Social Workers and have the ability to motivate your team.
