Are you an experienced Social Worker looking to take the next step in your career? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Social Work Deputy Team Manager to join a dynamic Contact Team within Adult Services for a Local Authority in Central London.
As the Deputy Team Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the management of a team of social workers within the Contact Service. This role offers a competitive pay rate of up to £38 per hour.
The team currently undertakes a range of important tasks, including screening assessments, receiving safeguarding referrals and managing "no replies" from care agencies. You will also be involved in signposting and connecting individuals to the appropriate services.
To be successful in this role, you must be social work England registered and have previous experience working in a similar setting. You should have excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a strong understanding of relevant legislation and procedures.
