Role:  Social Work Team Manager
Location: West Country

Pay: £40 per hour
Contract: Full-Time Locum

Are you a Social Work Lead looking to make a real difference in the West Country? If so, a Local Authority in the West Country is looking for a new Social Work Lead to join their Adults Team. This is an exciting chance to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults in the area.

The Local Authority is offering a competitive rate of £40ph for the role, and is offering hybrid and flexible working, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a hospital and managing ASYEs, as well as be registered with Social Work England.

The role of Social Work Lead is a highly rewarding and rewarding one. Working closely with the Adults Team, you will be responsible for helping vulnerable adults receive the care and support they need. The role involves using a range of skills, such as liaising with other professionals, managing a caseload, attending meetings and providing guidance and advice. You will also be expected to work in partnership with other services, such as the police, health care professionals and other Local Authorities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate a range of skills and experience. You should have a good understanding of relevant legislation, be able to lead and motivate your team, have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work under pressure. You should also have a proven track record of working with vulnerable adults and have experience of both in-person and virtual case management.
