Are you an experienced Social Worker looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We're looking for two dedicated Social Workers to join our Mid & East Children Looked After Children team, supporting children and young people in care.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you'll focus on building positive relationships with children, young people, and their families to help them feel safe, stable, and supported. You'll be carrying out high-quality assessments, ensuring that children’s needs are met without unnecessary delays.

You'll need to be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing your caseload effectively, and delivering strong social work practice to achieve positive outcomes.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for Social Workers who:

• Are registered with Social Work England and have completed their ASYE.
• Have experience working in social care, ideally with multi-agency involvement and court proceedings.
• Have strong communication, recording, and planning skills.
• Understand the key legislation, models, and theories that underpin children’s social work.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Working Arrangements

While you'll need to visit children and manage your caseload as required, there may be some flexibility for home-working, which can be discussed during your interview.

Please note: This role is no longer eligible for the agency accommodation/commuter travel allowance.
