Social Worker – Children with Disabilities Team

Rates: £37.00p/h
Achieving for Children is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children with Disabilities team based in Kingston and Richmond. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team, delivering high-quality services to children and young people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work within the Children with Disabilities team, providing case management and direct support to children and their families.
- Conduct assessments, care plans, and reviews, ensuring the safety and well-being of children with disabilities.
- Collaborate with other professionals and agencies to deliver holistic support tailored to the needs of children and families.
- Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities and maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
Key Requirements:
- Experience working within Children with Disabilities teams (preferable).
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and best practice in social work.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
- SWE Registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
Additional Information:
- You will be required to be in the office 3 days a week during the assignment.
- For the induction period (over 2 weeks), you will be required to be in the office 5 days a week.
