Position: Non-Case Holding Assessment Social Worker
Hourly Rate: £33.30 per hour
Type: Locum
Contract Duration: Until March 2025
Sheldon Phillips is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assessment Social Worker for a non-case holding role. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner to work intensively with families and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive parenting assessments
- Performing detailed risk assessments
- Working closely with families, providing intensive support
- Addressing issues related to safeguarding, sexual violence, learning disabilities, mental health, and substance misuse/abuse
Requirements:
- Proven experience in safeguarding and working with families in challenging circumstances
- Expertise in handling complex cases involving sexual violence, learning disabilities, mental health issues, and substance misuse/abuse
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to produce high-quality, detailed reports
- Social Work England (SWE) registration is essential
- This is a non-case holding role, so there will be no duty responsibilities
