Duty and Assessment Team (Agency Role)

Location: Oldham Council
Rate: £39 per hour

Are you an experienced Social Worker passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Oldham Council is seeking a dedicated professional to join their Duty and Assessment team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake initial assessments and provide timely responses to referrals.
• Identify and assess the needs and risks of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and multi-agency partners to develop effective support plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with statutory requirements.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England (SWE) registration.
• Experience in Duty and Assessment or a similar role.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
