Rate: £38 per hour

Leicestershire County Council is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join their Children In Care team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment, making a significant impact on the lives of children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of children in care, ensuring their needs are assessed and met effectively.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
• Regularly review and update care plans, ensuring all actions promote the best outcomes for children.
• Work closely with foster carers, residential care staff, and other stakeholders to provide stability and support for children.

Requirements:

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England (SWE) registration.
• Experience working with children in care or in similar roles.
• Strong understanding of the legal and policy framework for children in care.
• Excellent assessment, planning, and communication skills.
