We are currently working with a South West London Local Authority to help them find a Specialist Mental Health Personal Advisor. This role comes with a twist....they need a Qualified Social Worker to carry out this role! The salary and benefits are excellent too!

They need a Qualified Social Worker that is ready to help young adults who have been looked after with Mental Health issues. This Local Authority is known for its stable and supportive management team. The managers here have a wealth of knowledge and they are fully prepared and willing to support new members of staff.

You also need:

  • Experience of working with the Care Act 2014 and within Adult Mental Health Services
  • Committed to achieving positive outcomes for young adults who have been looked after
  • Knowledge of key legislation like the Leaving Care Act 2000 and Social Work Act 2017
  • Experience of managing challenging adolescent behaviours and engaging hard-to-reach young people with mental health issues

Why use Sheldon Phillips to find your next role? It's simple really - we aren't pushy or too needy.....we know that what you want is to be listened to! You want an agency that will proactively look for what you want to do, rather than us focussing on the roles that will benefit us financially.

That's why we have been so successful, because this is YOUR job search, not ours.
