About the Role
As a Social Worker within the Localities Service, you will work with children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and care proceedings, delivering high-quality interventions that create lasting change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a varied caseload involving CIN, CP, and court work
- Undertake assessments and develop effective child-centred plans
- Complete statutory visits and maintain accurate case recordings
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
- Prepare high-quality reports for conferences and court proceedings
- Promote positive outcomes through timely and effective intervention
About You
We are looking for committed and resilient Social Workers who are passionate about safeguarding and improving outcomes for children.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Experience within frontline children’s services
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance
- Ability to manage complex cases effectively
- Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
- Commitment to relationship-based practice and positive change
