About the Role

As a Social Worker within the Localities Service, you will work with children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and care proceedings, delivering high-quality interventions that create lasting change.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload involving CIN, CP, and court work
  • Undertake assessments and develop effective child-centred plans
  • Complete statutory visits and maintain accurate case recordings
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
  • Prepare high-quality reports for conferences and court proceedings
  • Promote positive outcomes through timely and effective intervention

About You

We are looking for committed and resilient Social Workers who are passionate about safeguarding and improving outcomes for children.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
  • Experience within frontline children’s services
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance
  • Ability to manage complex cases effectively
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
  • Commitment to relationship-based practice and positive change
