Introduction

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families requiring safeguarding intervention.
- Undertake assessments, direct work, and safety planning.
- Lead on Section 47 enquiries and Child Protection planning.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
- Attend strategy meetings, core groups, conferences, and court where required.
- Maintain accurate and timely case recording in line with statutory guidance.
Candidate Requirements
- Social Work England registration and right to work in the UK.
- Strong experience in Safeguarding, Child Protection, or Children in Need.
- Excellent assessment, risk analysis, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to relationship-based, child-centred practice.
