Camden Council is looking for an experienced Social Worker to join its Safeguarding Team on a locum basis. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who thrives in frontline child protection work and is happy to attend the office 2–3 days per week as part of a balanced hybrid model.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans and Children in Need
- Undertaking statutory safeguarding assessments and Section 47 enquiries
- Preparing high-quality reports for ICPCs, core groups, and court proceedings
- Working closely with families to reduce risk and promote positive outcomes
- Attending strategy meetings and multi-agency forums
- Maintaining accurate and timely case recording in line with statutory requirements
