Permanent Social Worker – Child Protection – Kent

Role:  Permanent Social Worker
Location:  Kent
Team:  Child Protection
Pay:  Up to £45,000 Per Annum
Contract:  Full Time Permanent

We are working closely with a local authority in Kent who are currently looking for a Permanent Social Worker to join their Child Protection team in Children’s Services.  After a sustained level of stability and permanent Senior Teams being established, now is a great time to join this Local Authority.

As a Permanent Social Worker on this Child Protection team in Kent, you will need to have at least 2 years post qualifying experience in a similar team or have completed an ASYE. 

To be considered as a Permanent Social Worker for this role in Kent you will also need:

Social Work England Registration 
Social Work Qualification
Recent DBS Check

You will be completing child protection investigations and will sometimes be required to attend court.  There is a duty rota in place which you will be a part of, and you will be expected to sometimes work unsociable hours as the job requires.
