Social Worker – Child Protection Team
Pay Rate: £42 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Role
Bracknell Forest Borough Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Child Protection Team. This role involves working with children and families where there are safeguarding concerns, completing high-quality assessments, creating robust safety plans, and ensuring children are protected from harm.
You will manage a varied caseload, work closely with multi-agency partners, and contribute to timely, child-focused decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries and Child and Family Assessments.
- Manage Child Protection and Child in Need cases.
- Create clear, collaborative, strengths-based plans for children and families.
- Work closely with partner agencies such as health, education, and police.
- Complete direct work with children to ensure their voice is always central.
- Prepare high-quality reports for conferences, reviews, and court where required.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records.
