Children & Families Safeguarding Social Worker – Tiverton

📍 Location: Tiverton, Devon
💰 Pay: Up to £44/hr
🕒 Commitment: 3 days per week in the office, hybrid working available
📌 Caseload: Child Protection, including Section 47 & Section 17 work, plus Court proceedings

Are you a passionate and dedicated Social Worker looking for your next role in Children & Families Safeguarding? We’re looking for an experienced professional to join the team in Tiverton, managing a caseload of child protection cases, including S47 investigations, S17 assessments, and court work.

The Role

As a Safeguarding Social Worker, you will:
✔️ Carry out Section 47 child protection investigations and Section 17 Child in Need assessments.
✔️ Manage a diverse and complex caseload while ensuring children’s safety and well-being.
✔️ Prepare and present court reports and attend proceedings as required.
✔️ Work closely with families, carers, and partner agencies to ensure positive outcomes for children.
✔️ Be based in the Tiverton office three days a week, with flexible working arrangements available.

About You

✔️ Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration.
✔️ Experience in child protection and safeguarding, including court work.
✔️ Strong assessment, report-writing, and case management skills.
✔️ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
✔️ A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
