Social Worker – Children in Care Team - Leicester City Council
Location: Leicester City
Pay/Salary: up to £35-38 per hour
Office Working: 2 Days per week
Contract: Locum
We are currently working with Leicester City to find an experienced Social Worker for their Children in Care Team within Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Leicester City are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their services. This post is part-time - 22.5 hours per week (3 days).
Duties
- Undertake statutory visits, and assessments as a Corporate Parent
- Undertake Section 7and 37 reports, as well as attending Court, and providing analysis and evidence-based recommendations
- Long term engagement with families, including direct work, capturing the voice of the child
- Attending conferences, such as CIC reviews
- Completing discharge of care work and SGOs
