South Gloucestershire Council are looking for a Qualified Social Workers to join their 0-18 Children with Disabilities Team. This is a Full-Time Permanent Social Work role ranging between £33,945 - £45,441 per annum including an additional £3,000 Market Supplement.

About The Team:

The 0-18 Children with Disabilities social care team has several functions, one of which is to provide information, advice and support to children, young people, their families and carers to enable children with disabilities to enjoy and achieve social inclusion.

Key Experience & Responsibilities:

• You will have experience of court work, as candidates will need, or be willing to develop experience and skills to assess a person’s capacity and authorise any deprivation of liberty before the courts
• You will be a qualified social worker with relevant Social Work England registration to practice and a good understanding of asset and strengths-based approaches to social work.
• You will evidence that you are a problem solver, confident about making important decisions, underpinned by a genuine passion to work collaboratively with children, young people and families to meet their goals and aspirations.
• You will be an advocate for innovation, positivity and dedication. You’ll welcome challenge and embrace change.
• You will demonstrate specialist knowledge of the relevant services, including latest service developments, legislation, regulations and codes of practice.

About You:

To apply for this role, you will need least 3 years post qualification experience. Knowledge and experience in Court work, CWD or CP is required for this role.

Car Driver and Access to a vehicle is required.

BA(Hons) in Social Work and to be registered with Social Work England (SWE).
