Social Worker – Children with Disabilities Team - Stockport Council
Location: Stockport
Pay/Salary: up to £38 per hour
Office Working: 2 Days per week
Contract: Locum
We are currently working with Stockport Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Children with Disabilities Team within Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Stockport are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their services.
Duties
- Undertake statutory visits and completing S17 Assessments and S47s, parenting and sibling assessments, evaluating needs of the child and family.
- Developing care plans for children and families, including provisions such as respite and short breaks.
- Working closely with partner agencies, such as Health, Education, and Police.
- Chair CIN, Core Group and professionals’ meetings, as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
