Social Worker – Children & Families Team
Pay Rate: £42 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week

About the Role
Gloucestershire County Council is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join its Children & Families Team. This role focuses on supporting children and families through statutory social work interventions, ensuring safety, stability, and positive lifelong outcomes.
You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, completing high-quality assessments, and working collaboratively with professionals to ensure children receive the right support at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Child and Family Assessments and ongoing statutory work.
- Manage Child in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care cases.
- Undertake direct work with children, making sure their voice is central to all decisions.
- Work effectively with partner agencies including health, education, and early help.
- Prepare analytical reports and maintain accurate case records.
- Contribute to safeguarding planning and multi-agency meetings.
