Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and experienced Children in Need (CIN) Social Worker looking for a rewarding locum opportunity? Join our dynamic team at the Central Midlands Local Authority and make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of approximately 20 children, providing high-quality social work services.
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, and provide ongoing support to children and families.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with local authority guidelines.

Working Arrangements:

  • Hybrid working model with a preference for team presence in the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
  • Flexibility for additional WFH days based on team manager discretion.
  • Locums park where all staff park in local car parks and can claim back their parking expenses.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in Children’s Services.
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Strong understanding of Children in Need services, child protection, and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
