Social Worker – Court Team – Dudley Council

Location: Dudley
Rate: £41 per hour
Office Working: 3 days in the office
Contract: Locum

We are currently working with Dudley to find a Social Worker. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Dudley are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to support and join the court team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Working on Child protection cases under Public Law Outline. Issuing case
• care proceedings and working across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Completing court statement and care plans and giving evidence in court
• when required.
• Complete s37 and s7 reports.
• Complete complex pre-birth, parenting and risk assessments.
• completed complex parenting, pre-birth and viability assessments.
• Developed court timetables and maintained communication across agencies.
• Completed direct work with children and young people, including life journey work.
• Attended CIC reviews, PEP meetings and multi-agency forums.
• Reviewed expert witness reports and contributed to legal planning.
• Supported foster carers and promoted placement stability.
• SEND champion and life-journey/direct-work champion

Requirements

• Social Work England registration
• Social Work qualification
• Enhanced DBS (Provided by us)
