Pay:  up to £33.30 per hour
Contract: Full-Time Locum

The Role

We’re looking for an individual to join a team of passionate and creative Duty and Assessment Social Workers. You’ll be providing a range of duties including assessments, reviews and direct work with service users. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that all service users have access to services that meet their needs.

You’ll be working with vulnerable adults and children, providing assessments, interventions and support. You’ll be responsible for making sure that all service users have the best possible chance of achieving their goals.

You’ll also be expected to support the team with any other duties as required.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a social work role. You must have a degree in Social Work or equivalent, as well as a valid DBS check. You must also have a good understanding of relevant legislation and legislation relating to the role.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should have a confident and professional attitude and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the concepts of equality and diversity.
