Senior Practitioner - Safeguarding (Exploitation) - Locum Position

Are you a dedicated and experienced social worker with a passion for safeguarding vulnerable individuals from exploitation? We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker to join our team as a Senior Practitioner in Safeguarding (Exploitation).

Role Details:

  • Position: Senior Practitioner
  • Team: Safeguarding (Exploitation)
  • Type: Locum
  • Rate: £33.30 per hour (Umbrella rate)
  • Location: West Midlands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex cases involving the safeguarding of individuals from various forms of exploitation.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to less experienced social workers within the team.
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to protect and support vulnerable individuals.
  • Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams, including law enforcement, healthcare professionals, and community organizations, to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and contribute to strategic planning and policy development related to exploitation.

Requirements:

  • SWE (Social Work England) registration.
  • Significant experience in safeguarding, with a specific focus on exploitation.
  • Proven track record of managing complex cases and delivering positive outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle challenging situations with resilience and empathy.
