Social Worker – Families First Team - Trafford Council
Location: Trafford Town Hall, Stretford
Salary: £37,280 - £42,839 + (£2,400 Market Supplement)
Office Working: 3 Days per week
Contract: Permanent (Fixed Term Contract also available - please enquire)
We are currently working with Trafford Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their established Families First team in Children’s Services. With a permanent senior leadership team, Trafford are looking for experienced practitioners to conduct all Duty and Assessment work, as well as supporting families through the Child in Need process.
Duties
- Completing Section 17 CIN Assessments and identifying children and families requiring support
- Participating in the Duty rota, including safeguarding referrals, risk assessments
- Develop and review Child in Need plans, working directly with children, parents and wider family network
- Collaborative work with multi-agency professionals - school, health, police - to manage risk and achieve positive outcomes
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
