Position Details:

  • Location: North London
  • Salary: Up to £38.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
  • Contract: Locum basis
  • Hybrid Working: Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working model, combining remote work with office-based collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting assessments of potential foster carers and providing ongoing support.
  • Collaborating with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children in care.
  • Delivering training and guidance to foster carers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Providing direct support and interventions to children and young people in foster care.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration.
  • Previous experience working within fostering or children's services.
  • Strong communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to promoting the welfare and rights of children and young people.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
