Pay - £38.50

Are you an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker looking to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people? As an external recruiter, I am seeking an individual with the right skills and expertise to join a Childrens Fostering Team in a central London Borough.

The successful candidate will have a Social Work England registration, and the ability to work hybrid (between the office and remote). The role of Senior Social Worker offers a competitive hourly rate of £38.50.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing a comprehensive social work service to children and their families, and will be expected to develop and manage effective professional relationships with them. You will be required to undertake assessments and make recommendations to the court, and ensure that the safeguarding and wellbeing of children are at the centre of all actions.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in a Childrens Fostering Team. You should be passionate about improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to helping them reach their full potential. A good knowledge of relevant legislation and an understanding of the impact of trauma in children are essential requirements.
