Introduction
Haringey Council is seeking an experienced and committed Social Worker to join its Child Protection Team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Child Protection and Children in Need cases.
- Undertake Section 47 enquiries and develop robust safety plans.
- Complete high-quality assessments, direct work, and risk analysis.
- Work closely with children, families, and partner agencies to reduce risk.
- Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, core groups, conferences, and court proceedings.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements.
Candidate Requirements
- Social Work England registration and right to work in the UK.
- Strong experience in Child Protection and statutory children’s services.
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to child-centred, strengths-based practice.
