Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Child in Need, Child Protection, and court work within statutory timescales
- Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and deliver interventions tailored to families’ needs
- Work closely with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding and positive outcomes
- Engage children and families in direct work, ensuring their voices are central to decision-making
- Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for panels, reviews, and legal proceedings
Candidate Requirements:
- Social Work England registration
- Proven experience in Child Protection/Safeguarding teams
- Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency environment
- Commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children and families
