Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Child in Need, Child Protection, and court work within statutory timescales
• Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and deliver interventions tailored to families’ needs
• Work closely with partner agencies to ensure effective safeguarding and positive outcomes
• Engage children and families in direct work, ensuring their voices are central to decision-making
• Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for panels, reviews, and legal proceedings

Candidate Requirements:

• Social Work England registration
• Proven experience in Child Protection/Safeguarding teams
• Strong assessment, communication, and report-writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency environment
• Commitment to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children and families
