We are recruiting a Looked After Children Worker in the West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable young people.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care for Looked After Children. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience working with vulnerable children, an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent and a full driving license.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a commitment to the highest standards of care. They must also be able to work on their own initiative and work as part of a team.

The Looked After Children Worker will provide tailored, person centred care and support, ensuring the emotional, social, physical and educational needs of the children are met and their rights are respected. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the children, which includes taking them to school, leisure activities, appointments, and other activities.

This role will require the successful candidate to have an understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues, and the ability to be able to identify and respond to any potential risks. The candidate must also be able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment and be able to manage challenging behaviour.
