Job Overview:

Are you an experienced Social Worker with a passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities? We are seeking a dedicated Adult Social Worker to join our team in Leicestershire. This locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £34.00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults with learning disabilities, identifying their needs and developing individualized care plans.
• Case Management: Manage a caseload of adults with learning disabilities, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
• Support and Advocacy: Provide support and advocacy for individuals with learning disabilities, ensuring their needs and preferences are at the forefront of care planning.
• Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure coordinated and holistic support for individuals.
• Safeguarding: Ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable adults by identifying and addressing potential risks and working in line with safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines.
• Review and Evaluation: Regularly review and evaluate care plans and interventions to ensure they are meeting the needs of individuals and making necessary adjustments as required.

Requirements:

• Social Work England (SWE) registration is essential.
• Proven experience in working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
• Commitment to promoting the well-being and independence of adults with learning disabilities.
