Are you a registered Senior Social Worker looking for a new challenge?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Locum Senior Social Worker to join a Leaving Care Team, based in the heart of London. This is a hybrid working role where you will be able to work both from home and in the office, with a competitive hourly rate of up to £38.50.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for social work, who has a solid understanding of the importance of the leaving care agenda. You will need to be a registered member of Social Work England and have the necessary experience and skills to succeed in the role.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of the challenges faced by young people in the care system, and have the ability to provide advocacy and advice to support them to achieve their goals. You must have an understanding of the impact of trauma and how to support young people to build resilience. You will need to have experience of providing assessments, care planning, and working with other professionals, such as foster carers and personal advisers.
