Social Worker – Leaving Care Team – London
Location: London Borough of Islington
Pay/Salary: up to £37.52 per hour
Office Working: 3 Days per week
Contract: Locum
We are currently working with Islington Council to find an experienced Social Worker for their Leaving Care team in Children’s Services. With a stable management team and a mostly permanent workforce, Islington are looking for someone with solid experience to be able to pick up a caseload and support their service.
Duties
- Supporting care leavers aged 16–25
- Completing pathway plans and reviews
- Supporting young people to develop independence and prepare for adulthood
- Working with young people around accommodation, education, employment and finances
- Working in partnership with other professionals and services to achieve positive outcomes
- Managing a caseload and completing statutory visits
What you need
- Social Work Qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS (provided by us)
